From September 1 to 3, 2023, the great INWA European Championships sports event took place in Jedlińsk under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Sport and Recreation. On September 1, the European Championships opened officially, welcoming competitors from European countries (Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Estonia, Spain) as well as the national team and other players from our country. The ceremony was led by the President of PZNW, Arkadiusz Kozak, presenting the authorities of the city of Jedlińsk, and the ceremonial opening was performed by INWA president Aki Karihtala.
On September 2, after receiving the starting packages, competitions took place over 3 distances: 21.1 km, 10 km and 5 km. The championships were held at the Radom Aero Club on a soft grass surface. The route was certified and fully professionally prepared. One loop was 5 km long. After the competition, there was time for ceremonial decorations and the playing of the anthems of the individual countries taking first place in the open and age categories.
On the last day of the Championships, the 4x5km relay competition took place.
The competition between individual teams brought a lot of emotions. Also on that day, at the end, an awards and distinction ceremony took place.
A total of 400 players took part in the Championship.
The competition was attended by 9 judges from Poland and two judges from Croatia.
