INWA member in Poland, PZNW (Zrzeszenie Nordic Walking) is very active in the professional organisation of different international Nordic Walking Race Events. Several World Cups and even the INWA World Championships are on the schedule and are internationally visited. The World Cups and INWA World Championship are under the honourful patronage of INWA and very well and professional organised by PZNW.

The World Cup in Kolbuszowa on May 14th-15th has been visited by more than 500 participants. It has been grandiose and really professionally organised by PNZW (Polskie Zrzeszenie Nordic Walking) and its partners, with accurate Race Officials leading the race very well.
On May 14, the individual competition was held at the following distances: 5 km, 10 km, and 21.1 km.

On May 15, the relay races were breaking. Distance 2 x2.5 km. For the youngest, a mini Nordic Walking March was organised. A lot of joy, smiles, and fun, and at the same time promotion of Nordic Walking among children.

On May 29, another international event took place under patronage of INWA, which gathered almost 300 Nordic Walkers. This was the second part of the International Nordic Walking series.
The competitors in Tarnowskie Góry (Poland) competed in the Open Polish Nordic Walking Championships at the 21.1 km Half Marathon distance. There were also 3 x 7 km relay competitions. A group of Nordic Walkers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia also participated in the competition.
For Nordic Walkers from Poland, the competition in Tarnowskie Góry was also a qualification for the national relays at the INWA Nordic Walking World Championships 2022, which will take place on September 3-4, 2022 in Szlarska Poręba, at DCS Jakuszycka Polana.

Some information on the Sports Centre DCS Jakuszycka Polana:
The brand new and most modern sports center in Poland and Central Europe will be adapted to sports and active leisure all year round. The aim is expanding the sports infrastructure intended for holding top-level competitions in winter and summer sports. There will also be a year-round training center for various disciplines of qualified sports, with a biological regeneration function and hypoxic rooms, as well as a test center for modern technologies, including electronic measuring devices used in sports.
