INWA invited all National Associations, International and National Trainers, Instructors, Activity Leaders and Nordic Walkers to participate in the 2019 World Nordic Walking Day.
World Nordic Walking Day was held on May 18th and 19th.
The Nordic Walking Day is a day of unified commemoration of the Nordic Walking Family around the world. It is for everyone, of all ages and abilities. Thousands of participants around the world take to the streets to share in INWA Nordic Walking Day, promoting health and physical active.
INWA always hopes for a massive participation of her Members and helps in providing a promotional member package which includes:
- Use of the official title “World Nordic Walking Day”
- Use of official artwork, including logo
- Integration of your event into the official World Nordic Walking Day Calendar
- Promotion of your event via INWA and our website, Facebook, Twitter and INWA newsletter
And in Iran, our newest member, a great introduction of INWA Nordic Walking and a 5 km walk was done by Taymor Farsimadan in the Chitgar Park in Teheran
INWA Netherlands used World Nordic Walking Day for a training for Charity Walk for people with MS (Multiple sclerosis).
The Nordic Walkers train for special sponsored walks for the Multiplesclerosis Foundation in the Netherlands. This money will be donated for research of this illness on several days in 2019.
