Nordic Walking promotion fest in Electrostal (Moscow region)
Last Sunday in Electrostal (50 km away from Moscow) Nordic walking Fest took place. The event was organised in cooperation with Russian Nordic Walking Association (INWA Nordic walking Master Instructor Alexander Mamontov), the city administration and INWA Activity Leader Evgenia Pukhtiy. About 60 participants took part in the event promoting Nordic walking as a part of a healthy lifestyle.
The NW fest started with the opening ceremony, after that there was a short lecture about Nordic walking. Alexander Mamontov spoke about the agvantages Nordic walking everybody’s health and its positive effect on our life. Then a warming-up took place and it was followed by a masterclass on Nordic walking technique and Q&A session. The participants had a real chance to correct their NW technique – and now they are sure they nordic walk right. And after the masterclass we made a one-kilometer nordic walk to practice the NW skills. Though the weather rather cold everybody was cheerful 🙂
